Alice Ann Bachtell

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alice Ann Bachtell, 75, died July 12, 2016.

Born in Akron, she was a lifetime resident of the area, a 1958 graduate of St. Mary's High School and a 1961 graduate of St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing where she spent 40 plus years, primarily as a Recovery Room Head Nurse. Alice was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls and the St. Thomas Alumni Assn.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn (Ingersoll) Arndt, she is survived by her husband, Brad; daughter, Catherine (Tim) Uzl of Akron; son, Paul of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Lillian, Luke, Louis, and Lila Uzl; sister, Margaret Boehn of Barberton; brothers, William D.(Shirley) Ingersoll of Cuyahoga Falls and John (Kathy) Ingersoll of Northfield; sister-in-law, Brenda Holcomb of LaGrange and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-5 PM Sunday at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at St. Joseph Church, Cuyahoga Falls, Father David McCarthy, Celebrant.
