Allen Robert Neff

MUNROE FALLS - Allen Robert Neff, 87, died January 10, 2022. Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of Munroe Falls since 1971, and a U.S. Army veteran. Allen had been employed with Montgomery Ward as a mechanic, retiring in 1979. He enjoyed driving, building, and working on race cars. While in the army, Allen worked on the generals’ vehicles, which in turn led him to start his own business when he got out of the service working as a mechanic for many years. As hobbies, he enjoyed building and racing go-carts, which eventually led to building and racing race cars. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and shooting pool in his basement on his pool table. He loved board games, and his favorite was Scrabble. He always won! Preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Jennie Neff; son, Robert Neff; daughter, Marsha Little; brothers, Charles Neff and David Neff, and sister, Charlotte Hamilton He is survived by his wife, Barbara Neff; daughters, Sheila (Tom) Tang, Lucia Rudman, and Carla (Joseph) Long; sons, Benjamin (Shayne) Neff, and Vincent (Tracy) Rudman, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.
