Allen Parkhill

August 12, 1964 — December 21, 2024

STOW - Allen Parkhill, 60, lifetime resident of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Allen will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Debbie Parkhill; children, David (Theresa), Matt, Amanda (Mike), and Joseph; grandchildren, Caroline, Grace, Michael, and Michelle; siblings, Bud (Kim), Mike (Kim), and Jeffrey; parents, Alfred and Suzzane; brother-in-law, Dan Simmons; sister-in-law, Jackie Ferrante (Ric); mother-in-law, Nancy Simmons, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ed Simmons.

Allen was always known for his one-of-a-kind personality. You never knew if you were ready for a laugh or ready for him to crack a joke on you. He always knew how to lighten the room and always knew how to get you to laugh. He was the jack of all trades. He was a mechanic, heavy machine operator, landscaper, repairman, plumber, amazing cook, and so much more!

Allen has done many things with his life and started building it in high school with his high school sweetheart, Debbie, together 43 years and married 41 years this year. He also has worked in the excavating industry since high school with his brother, Bud. His brother, Bud, and he have been running their own excavating business for over 20 years which he enjoyed doing and experiencing with his brother. If Allen were not home, he would be with his brother, Bud, working, fishing, hanging out in the pole building fixing things, or making new things. He also loved to go down to the cabin to hunt and work on it to make it better.

Allen had numerous hobbies he loved to take part in, but you could always count on him going to the cabin to hunt deer, and he loved to go out fishing for tuna, salmon, walleye and more. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa. He was a very avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, guns, and his Busch light; you could almost always catch him with a cold one in his hands. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Allen was and always will be an amazing man and known for everything he has done for everyone and has taught others. He is truly missed every single day and, in the heart and soul of his family. Fly high and do the hunting we all wish we could be doing it with you; We love you!
