STOW - Allison (Ally) Rachel Lowry, 18, passed away March 23, 2023.
Allison Rachel Lowry was born at Summa Hospital in Akron on June 4, 2004. She was raised in Stow and spent her short-lived life as a resident of Stow. Ally graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in May 2022. She then moved into a dorm at Kent State University where she was pursuing a degree in psychology. Ally enjoyed reading, writing, Disney, and being with her pets, Fuzzy, Lulu, and Bubba. Ally loved her older sister, Katie, and her cousins. She loved spending time with her friends, parties at Fun Lynda’s House, and going to Uncle Tom’s Cabin at Lake Catawba. Ally gave several gifts as she made the brave decision to be an organ and tissue donor.
Preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Carole Lowry, she is survived by her mother, Julie Bennett Lowry; father, Scott Lowry; sister, Katie Lowry; maternal grandparents, Sally and David Bennett, and paternal grandfather, Ben Lowry.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 4 - 7 PM and Friday, March 31, 2023, from noon until 1:30 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. On Friday, March 31, 2023, Rev. Dr. Joe Boysel will conduct service at 1:30 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home. Burial at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow.
