STOW - Andrew W. Oros (Bear), 91, passed away at home February 20, 2024.
He served two years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War at Ft. Belvoir, VA. He retired from Kent Machine Company after 39 dedicated years of service. His hobbies were woodworking, bowling, fishing, and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Evalene, and his parents Steve and Anna Oros; sister, Frances, and his brothers, Steve and John.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Dave) Tewksbury, Timothy (Cheryl) Oros, and Kevin (Chanida) Oros; grandchildren, Scott, Michelle, Eric, and Emily; brothers, Albert and Mike, and step-granddaughter, Melissa (Chris) Dawson, and children, CJ and Nick.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and cousins, Janice Oros and Joanne Lott, as well as Harold and Joyce Ullman for their help.
Rev. Chad Delaney will conduct service, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 12 Noon, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial Hillside Cemetery in Mantua.
