Angeline (Ann) Trowbridge

STOW - Angeline “Ann” Trowbridge, 89, on September 17, 2023, went to be with her Savior.

Born in Greeneville, TN, she was a longtime Stow resident, loved flowers and gardening, and was a mentor and friend to many.

Her faith in Jesus was the central organizing principle in her life. Along with her husband, Glenn, Ann was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Kent, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, deaconess, and leader in the Vacation Bible School program.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Ida McAmis; son, Daniel, in 2020; sisters, Nema and Elizabeth McAmis, and brother, Drexel McAmis. She is survived by her husband, Glenn; sons, Mark (Peggy), David (Deborah), and Stephen (Valerie); daughter-in-law, Megan Trowbridge; grandchildren, Seth, Paul (Hayley), Luke (Naomi), Tom (Jamie), Evan, Daniel (Sarah), Matthew (Brittany), Michael, Brent (Sitha), Christopher (Jennifer), Jonathan (Megan), Andrew (Leah), Peter, April (Logan), Tera and Karen; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Gentzler; brother, John (Kay) McAmis; sister-in-law, Kay McAmis, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Friends may call on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9 to 11 AM, at Grace Baptist Church, 5915 Rhodes Road, Kent 44240, followed by a funeral service conducted by Pastor Bruce Chouinard. A graveside service will be held immediately after the funeral service at Maple Lawn Cemetery, 4915 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church .
