Annabelle (Ann) Rose Raymond

STOW - Annabelle (Ann) Rose Raymond passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92.

Ann was born and raised in Akron and lived most of her life in Stow. She began her career at Goodrich and Firestone and retired from Century Products after several years as an executive secretary.

As a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church, she was active in the Women’s Guild and funeral meal ministry, where she developed lasting friendships and a strong community. She wed in 1956 and spent every day building a fun and meaningful marriage with the love of her life. She was dedicated to both sides of her large family and relished any opportunity for a party. The kitchen was the comforting center of Ann’s home, and she could often be found lovingly preparing meals and special treats. She will always be remembered for opening her door and her heart to others, and for her instantly recognizable and infectious laugh.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Donald Raymond; daughter, Debra (Paul) Kiel; son, David (Jill) Raymond; grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Kiel, Jennifer (Anthony) McLaughlin, and Jeffrey Raymond; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Emelia, Rory, Henry, Emerson, and Alexandria, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rose Holb, and siblings, George and John Holb, Theresa Liska, Arlene Stewart, and Tom Horst.

Friends and family are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224, followed by interment at Silver Springs Cemetery.
