Arthur Hilton Trevorrow, Jr.

May 4, 1933 — March 6, 2024

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Arthur Hilton Trevorrow, Jr., 90, passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He was reunited with his parents, Arthur and Grace (Anderson); brother, William (‘Billy’); sister and brother-in-law, Anice and Barry Smith; brother-in-law, Sanford Rich; and his sons, Mark and Kenneth.

Arthur, a man of strong, unquestionable faith, leaves to mourn his passing his lovely bride of 68 years, Justina; beautiful daughter, Christine Ann (Donald Binder); beloved daughters-in-law, Linda Trevorrow and Isabela Sardas-Trevorrow; devoted grandchildren, Christopher, Peter, and Mary Binder, Juliann (Walter) Doerschuk and Laura Trevorrow, Zachary and Samuel Sardas-Trevorrow, and Victoria Binder, his sweet great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his sister, Jean (Peter) Zeoli; sisters-in-law, Anna Rich and Melinda Trevorrow; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Born in New York City on May 4, 1933, Arthur lived primarily in Liverpool, England during his young years, returning to Connecticut in 1947. After meeting the love of his life for the first time at a Demolay/Rainbow Girls' dance on March 10, 1949, Arthur served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War (1952-1955). Upon his return from active duty, Arthur and Justina Elizabeth May were married in a beautiful ceremony on September 10, 1955, in Shelton, CT. With his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Bridgeport in hand, he, Justina and the boys began their cross-country tour as Arthur’s career flourished.

Together they made homes in many states, returning to Ohio on November 30, 2023. Arthur’s employment with Farrel Corporation, Measurex Corporation, APV Chemical Machinery, and AEG Westinghouse Corporation permitted him to truly ‘see the world’, traveling to many South American and European countries, and China. He retired as a sales and service consultant for the chemical, plastic, rubber, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper industries. Membership in Episcopal churches in all of their living places was usually the first order of business for the couple.

Active in church leadership and outreach projects, including prison ministry, Arthur lived and witnessed his undying faith. Arthur was also a 50-year member of the Freemasons. The children and grandchildren will continue to share fond memories of scouting adventures, playing cribbage, chess, and sudoku, watching TV, attending sports events and school activities, building puzzles, and receiving his special handwritten cards and letters. Beach vacations were enjoyed most years, first with the family, and later with friends, in Florida. He always enjoyed opera, reading, and a good game of golf.

Services with military honors will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11 AM, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 3 Peabody Row, Londonderry, NH 03053, where a luncheon will follow.
