COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -Ashlie M. Wallace (Richards), 25, went to be with the Lord May 23, 2012.
Born in Savannah, GA, she was a graduate of Ellet High School. Ashlie joined the United States Army where she later met her husband Branden Wallace while stationed in Hawaii. After getting married Dec 12, 2006, they had their only son Owen Wallace. They later transferred to Ft. Lewis, WA then again to Ft. Carson, CO. Ashlie loved art and going to the zoo with her son and husband. A prankster and jokester at heart, Ashlie was also a talented cook, which sometimes borderlined on experimental, but the food always came out good.
She is survived by her husband Branden; son Owen; parents Mike and Lisa Richards; brother Dusty; uncleTieri Richards; aunt Corrine Glass; uncle and aunt Troy and Idalia Rose; grandmother Micheline Richards; grandparents Arnold and Sandy Bias.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, where Pastor JimCase will conduct service Friday 1 PM. Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Ashlie's video tribute may be seen here.
