Barbara E. Sunyecz, 68, passed away August 3, 2012 surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, she was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, had worked for Imperial Steel Rule Dies and was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Chapter of the OES.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her father, Alex Patonai, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, John, son John (Lisa) Sunyecz, grandsons Ian and Alec, mother Elizabeth Patonai, brother James Patonai (Stacey) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 2 to 4 PM, where Rev. Dick Hasler will conduct service Monday 4 PM. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens Tuesday 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Northern Ohio Chapter, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland, OH 44122. Mrs. Sunyecz's video tribute may be viewed here.
