SHALERSVILLE- Beatrice "Bea" Grubb,85, died June 12, 2012.
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she was a lifetime area resident, an avid reader, and had retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co as an Executive Secretary.
Bea loved singing, reading the Bible, and baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey "Junior" and brothers, Robert, Leonard, and Donnie Bartow. She is survived by her daughter Connie Sampson; grandchildren Larry Sampson, Angela (Jason) Condo, and Christina (David) Toothman; and 7 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Louise (Henry) Craft, brother Ray (Judy) Bartow and sister-in-law Jo Ellen Bartow.
The family wishes to thank the loving nurses, aides and staff at Maplewood Care Center in Streetsboro for their love, devotion, and care for Beatrice for the last three and half years of her life.
Funeral service will be held Friday 12 noon at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial Crown Hill. Memorials may be made to Reed Memorial Library.
