Ben Spontarelli, Jr.

AKRON - Ben Spontarelli, Jr., 91, died October 20, 2021.

Born in Big Run, PA, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, an area resident since 1952, and had retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 41 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Esther Spontarelli, seven brothers and two sisters, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Donna; sons: Dennis (Kim), and Robert (Jenny); grandchildren, Jonathan, Kristy, Patricia, Mark, and David; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kaeson, Leo, Ava, Mia, Job, Nicholas, Elijah, and Meadow.

Private services for Ben's family, with military honors, provided by the U.S. Army, will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
