Bertha (Bea) V. Bennett, 84, of Stow, Ohio, passed away on August 31, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered and cherished as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Born on March 8, 1940, and having grown up in Munroe Falls, Ohio, Bertha graduated from Stow High School and went on to enjoy a distinguished career as a business executive with several companies.

Upon retiring, Bertha devoted her time to giving back to her community. She volunteered annually with AARP, assisting many with their income taxes, and supported Good Neighbors, where her contributions made a lasting impact. Bertha also found great joy through her participation in her women’s Bible study. Her unwavering work ethic was matched only by her passion for learning and helping others. However, it was her deep love for her family that brought her the greatest happiness.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Edward Cross, and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her loving husband, Clinton Bennett; her daughter, Gwynne (David) Dockery; her stepdaughters, Kathy (John) Milburn and Debra (James) Snyder; and her treasured grandchildren, Cassie Giunta, Holly (Michael) Snyder-Bingman, Alex (Amanda) Dockery, Megan Snyder, Kala (Ty) Hoover, Clinton Stamper, and seven great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224, on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4 - 7 PM, where funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio.
