Beulah Mae Jett

AKRON - Beulah Mae Jett, 87, of Akron, OH, formerly of Spencer, WV, left this world to join her family and friends on March 24, 2023. She was born November 16, 1935, in Spencer, WV.

She lived most of her life with her husband, Clyde, in Akron, OH. They traveled often back “home” to enjoy their much-loved family and friends. She loved music: Elvis, Patsy, and the Gaithers. You could always hear her singing right up until death quieted her voice. If she had her camera, she was going to be taking your picture, and she loved her photos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Jett; parents, Lee and Lora Starcher Church; siblings, Roy, Richard, Earl, Edward, Henry, Bruce, George, Ethel, Lucy, Sarah and Bethel.

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her son, Richard (Kathy) Jett; daughter, Debbie (John) Housley; grandkids, Kris Housley and Bonnie (Duane) Rueber, and great-grandkids, Mackenzie and Alex Rueber.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. ~ Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, located at 206 Beauty Street, Spencer, WV 25276, with Pastor Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial to follow at Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Alzheimer’s may have stolen her memories but it never touched her kind hearted spirit.
