Obituary of Beverly Ann Bierbusse





HUDSON - Beverly Ann Bierbusse, (Ritz), passed away peacefully September 1, 2021, at Laurel Lake Retirement Community in Hudson.

She was the daughter of Jerome and Mamie (Gutknecht) Ritz, born June 27, 1932, in Muskegon, Michigan. Beverly attended St Mary's High School, Muskegon; St Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana, where she earned a degree in nutrition. Beverly married John M. Bierbusse, Notre Dame 1954, on June 12, 1954.

In addition to being a devoted homemaker, volunteerism was always an important part of her life, school, church, and community. Dear husband, John, died suddenly in 1981 in Walden, Aurora, Ohio. After son, Paul, graduated from Western Reserve Academy and University of Notre Dame, she moved to Lakewood. There she met and married Paul B. Campbell, Sr. and spent 27 wonderful years with him.

Surviving is husband, Paul B. Campbell, Sr.; sons, John C. Bierbusse of Chicago, IL, Paul M. Bierbusse (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Erin Bierbusse of New York, NY and Patrick Bierbusse of Costa Mesa, CA; stepchildren, Jane Campbell of Washington, DC, Paul B. Campbell, Jr. (Wendy Harris) of Washington Grove, MD, and James W. Campbell, M.D. (Patricia, M.D.) of Shaker Heights, OH; eleven step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and special friends, Mary and Harry Strembel.

Private burial with memorial services to be announced.
