Beverly Marie Wolf (Nee Stanford)

HUDSON - Beverly Marie Wolf, (nee Stanford), age 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on June 20, 1936, to James and Esther, (nee Reichardt), Stanford.

Beverly was the beloved wife for 65 years of Jerome “Jerry” Wolf; the devoted mother of Kathleen (Allan) Jones, James (Mary-Ann), and Loreen (Bill) Young; loving grandmother of fourteen, and great grandmother of nine. She also leaves behind her sister, Marilyn (Lynn) Slaby.

A lover of music, Beverly was a longtime member of the Akron High Street Christian Church Choir, and director of the Chancel Handbell Choir for 20 years. She also served as assistant director for youth group musical productions and opened her home for pool parties and holiday gatherings for many church events. She served as chairman of the Akron Symphony Women’s Committee and is a past president of the Silver Lake Garden Club.

A memorial service is planned for Monday, June 19, 2023, at 3:30 PM, at First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, with a reception to follow.
