Bonnie Lou Himler

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Bonnie Lou Himler, age 87, peacefully passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while at home with her loving husband, Thomas Himler, on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Bonnie and her twin sister, Betty, were born December 18, 1936, in Newton Falls, Ohio, to Olin and AirrieDell Hedrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Hedrick (Faye), and Gene Hedrick; sister, JoAnne Gentile (Sam), and her son, Darryl Himler. She is survived by her husband, Tom; daughters, Darlene (Art) Gartman, and Diana SirLouis; son, Duane Himler, and sisters, Betty Cummins (Lenny), and Dorie Hess (Bill).

Bonnie was a dedicated wife of 70 years, mother of four, grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of thirteen, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She lived a life of service to the Lord, her husband, family, and friends. Bonnie was an active supporter of Pioneer Girls and ABF with the church. Gifted with floral design, she was a member of “The Herb Club” and opened “The Lil Herb Barn” in her backyard, where she and her sisters and husband supplied many with their beautiful creations. Many enjoyed the annual July 4th family reunion that Bonnie and Tom hosted for many years at their lifelong home.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and creativity, will continue to inspire and bless those she leaves behind.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM, where Pastor David Kraft will conduct service Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
