STOW - Brett G. Clark, November 13, 1948 - May 10, 2024.
That small dash between those dates holds his entire earthly experience as a strong resilient man who lived a full life his way.
Born in Cleveland, he lived in Stow for the last 23 years with his loving companion, Nancy Sneider, and together they shared an unbreakable bond and unconditional love. Brett had retired as a heavy truck mechanic and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Brett's greatest joys in life were working on projects around the house, working on and talking about cars, watching sports, and car shows, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and friends, and his love for desserts/sweets was bigger than the size of Texas. Brett's life was filled with many friends, he was a good neighbor with a servant's heart and gave his time to many people. Brett will never be forgotten in the hearts of the ones he loved, and who love him still.
The family would like to thank Brett's friends, family, and strangers who supported Brett and his family during his illness. To all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Brett so well - their unbelievable kind hearts and tireless efforts will stay with the family forever.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Josephine Clark, and his son, George Clark, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Jason Codner; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Sonya Clark, and grandchildren, Jacob and Ella Clark.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 173 Parkview Drive, Aurora, OH 44202, for a dessert reception to celebrate his life.
Private graveside funeral with military honors will be held prior.
Condolences may be made to Nancy Sneider, c/o The Codner Family, 553 South Mill Station Road, Whittemore, Michigan 48770.
