Carol Baumann

STOW - Carol Baumann, 77, went home to be with the Lord March 22, 2023.

Born in Martinski Vrh Croatia, Carol, along with her mother, Mary, immigrated to the U.S. in 1960. She was a resident of Stow since 1984, and a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. In 1980, along with her husband, Jack, they opened Baumann's Florist with a passion to make people happy through flowers. Until their retirement in 2018, Carol and Jack served the community, countless families, and made many, many, lifelong friends. Carol always put others first, and her genuine love and concern for her family and everyone she met will be forever remembered and so deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Tomasic, and sisters, Ana and Mary, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack; sons, Joseph Pavicic (Billie), Paul (Lynne), Andrew, and Jack (Renee) Baumann; and grandchildren, Sebastian, Nathaniel, and Gino.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224 for visitation Sunday, from 2 to 5 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday, 11 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls 44223, Fr. Tom McCann celebrant. Burial at Silver Springs Cemetery.
