Carol Suzanne Feldman-Sparber (1962 - 2025)
Ecclesiastes 3:11
"He has made everything beautiful in its time . . ."
HUDSON - Carol Suzanne Feldman-Sparber, age 63, passed away peacefully in her home early February 27, 2025, after a decade-long battle with cancer.
Carol was born in Akron, Ohio in 1962, to Chuck and Marge Feldman, the oldest of four children. She married her soulmate, Albert J. Sparber, and they spent their years in Hudson, Ohio. Carol was a lifelong educator, professor, and entrepreneur. She received a Ph.D., two master’s degrees, and a BA in Education from Kent State University.
Carol was an enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking wife, mother, and friend, who always put the needs of others ahead of her own! She was an encourager, a visionary, an educator, a generous hostess, and a passionate gardener. Carol loved people and her life reflected that. Her home was a constant source of hospitality for parties, celebrations, and holiday get-togethers. When she wasn’t busy working, you could find Carol out in her gardens. It was her happy place!
Carol’s life was not void of trials with peaks and valleys. She tragically faced the sudden passing of her beloved husband in 2019, all the while enduring her ongoing struggle with cancer. Carol was a fighter and an overcomer. She was a woman of great perseverance and strength . . . never giving up even during her final hours!
Carol is survived by her two children, Ryan Sparber and Melanie Sparber; her three half-children, Brian Sparber (Shirley), Jessica Gumucio (Oscar), and Marc Sparber (Melissa); her mother, Marjorie Feldman; sister, Linda McCain (Steve); brothers, Thomas Feldman (Rashel) and William Feldman (Sarah); five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by all that knew her!
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2 PM, at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson 44236, where friends may call from 1 PM until time of service.
