CHARLOTTE, NC- September 9, 2012, at the tender age of 50, Carol Ann (Montoney) Schulenberg went to be with our LORD Jesus Chris tafter a valiant battle against breast cancer.
Born in Akron, Carol projected throughout her life a positive energy, laughter, and a willingness to always put other's needs ahead of her own. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. We will all miss her dearly.
She is survived by her husband David Schulenberg,Charlotte, NC; parents Donald and Twila Montoney, Ocala, Florida; sons Larry and Brandon Longstreth, Stow; Aaron Longstreth, Charlotte, NC; siblings David(Sharon) Montoney, Susan (Chet) Stout, Stow; Donna (Robert) Gower, Mogadore; Patricia(Lynn) Fritz, Stow; Danny (Cyndi) Montoney, Mt. Dora, Florida; granddaughter Audrey Myers, Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Carol.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 5 to 9 PM, where Pastor Steven Gower will conduct service Saturday 10:30 AM. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Carol requested that donations in her memory be made to Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St., P. O. Box 547, Akron 44309-0547 or to the Harvest Center, Charlotte, NC.
