Carole Rusher Newell

Carole Rusher Newell, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, went home to be with the Lord in her residence on Monday, June 3, 2024, in Stow, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 26, 1937, to the late George B. and Celia Rusher, she was married to Donald Guy Newell for 26 years.

Carole is survived by her daughters; Donna (Joseph) DeBolt, Sharon Newell, Aimee Newell, and Jennifer Newell. She was preceded in death by her children; Donald, Gloria, Yvonne, and her siblings; Gloria, Colleen, Jack, and Donald. Carole leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She will always be remembered for her golden heart, her gentle soul, her love of cooking, and her strong faith, which sustained her through life's joys and challenges. Her unwavering compassion, generous spirit, and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her nurturing ways, whether through cooking a warm meal or offering a listening ear, brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her ability to make everyone feel loved and valued was a gift to all who knew her. To know her was to love her; she will always be cherished in the hearts of those who were blessed to have her in their lives.

A private family service will be held, with final resting place at Silver Springs Cemetery, Stow, Ohio.
