Carolyn Sue Barker

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Carolyn Sue Barker, 79, formerly of Stow, died August 4, 2021.

Born in Spencer, WV, she was a Cuyahoga Falls resident for 26 years. Carolyn retired from First Merit in Hudson in 1994, enjoyed crafting, was an active member of The Chapel, and also with Jesus Said Ministries, helping those in need.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dean; children, Ginger O'Brien, Dean (Jennifer) Barker, and Jennifer Southerland; grandchildren, Brendon, Aaron, Jared, Dean, Nick, Rachel, Jayden, Alaina and Brady, and brother, David (Karen) Runnion.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 5 to 7 PM. Pastor Isaac Van Epps will conduct service Tuesday 2 PM at The Chapel (in Memorial Chapel), 135 Fir Hill, Akron 44304. (Livestreaming of the service will be available at facebook.com/streamingfuneralservices.) Reception will follow. Please park at the Fir Hill entrance and enter the Memorial Chapel.
