Catherine Mae Moore

STOW - Catherine Mae Moore, 89, died December 25, 2023.

Born in McComb, OH, she was a 55 year Stow resident and member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge for 58 years.  Mrs. Moore was active in the Stow Sunshiners for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren at her lakefront home at Apple Valley Lake.  She was always ready to play a game of cards or a board game with the grandkids for as long as they wanted.  She called bingo at a senior citizens home in Stow-Kent for many years in spite of not being a resident and was always busy, out meeting someone for lunch.

Preceded in death by her husband Gerald, she is survived by her sons, Keith, Greg (Gail), and Roger (Stephanie), 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to the AL staff at The Briarwood Assisted Living in Stow for their outstanding care and love many of them have shown, as well as Crossroads Hospice for their professional care and guidance.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 12 to 2 PM, where funeral service will be held at 2 PM.

Burial immediately following at Stow Cemetery.
