Charles “Cas/Chuck” Rocko

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Charles “Cas/Chuck” Rocko, 95, entered into the arms of Jesus on December 4, 2023.

Born in Toronto, Ohio, he was a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a graduate of Kent State University. Charles was the purchasing agent for East Ohio Gas Company at the time of his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church.

Charles was a kind, loving, and gentle husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing the accordion and keyboard. He was all about the Cleveland sports teams as well. Most importantly, Charles loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Joanna Rocko; sister, Jennie Rocko, and in-laws, Joseph and Helen Demko. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Matilda “Toots” Rocko; sons, Mark (Kelly) and Greg (Lisa) Rocko; grandchildren, Lindsey (Cephas) Sloan, Bryan (Bailey), Sarah, Kristen, and Adam Rocko; step-grandchildren, Amanda (Rick) Scenna and Sydney Knauf; great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Beckett Sloan; step-great-grandchildren, Rowan, Remi, and Richard Scenna, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221. Visitation one hour prior to service, beginning at 10 AM, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ name to either St. Eugene Catholic Church , 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
