STOW- Charlotte A. Foringer, 87, a woman of gentle strength, went home to be with the Lord, February 26, 2011.
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Charlotte was a World War II survivor, leaving Germany for America at the age of 29. A Stow resident since 1963, she was a longtime, active member of First Christian Church of Stow, where she served in many ways, including as president of the Women's Guild, as a Sunday school teacher and a deaconess.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph L.; son Pastor James R. (Jeanne) Foringer of Roanoke, VA; daughter Linda (Jim) Taylor of Kent; grandchildren Christy (Phillip) Bowles, Timothy Foringer, Nathan Taylor, Katie Taylor and great-grandson Jake Bowles.
Rev. Jonathan Rumburg and Pastor Jim Foringer will conduct service Wednesday 6:30 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4PM until service time. Burial Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Stow. Mrs. Foringer's video tribute may be seen here.
