Cheryl L. O'Connor (Connell), 62, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2011. Born in Akron, she worked for the Summit County Children's Services and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 40 years Joseph, cherished mother of daughter Michelle (Christopher) Amore, sons Joseph Jr. (Theresa), Timothy (Veronica), Jason (Jillian), and grandmother of Autum, Vincent, Madison, Logan, Kennedy and baby oc.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Mrs. O'Connor's video tribute may be viewed here.
