Christina Lynn Shaw

STOW - Christina Lynn Shaw, 54, passed away May 23, 2024.

Born in Akron, she was a resident of Stow since 1970. Christina was a bright light to everyone who knew her. She left sparkle everywhere she went and loved to help those in need. Christina enjoyed shopping, politics, shoes, and anything pink. She was a strong, caring mother and daughter, as well as an exceptional friend.

Christina grew up in Stow her entire life and made it her priority to serve her community when she was a City Council Member in 2020. She spent two years serving her community and enjoyed every minute of helping to prioritize the needs of the citizens of Stow. We will remember her for her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, her generosity and kindness, but mostly for her deep love of her children and family.

Preceded in death by sister, Debbie Shaw, and her beloved dogs, Biden and Daisy, she is survived by her daughter, Jourdan Matos; son, Preston Lee Matos, and mother, Cheryl Leipply.

Pastor Dan Page will conduct service Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 2 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.
