Cloyd Dean Scott

STREETSBORO - Dean Scott, 74, passed away on July 14, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones.

Dean was born November 2, 1946, in Wooster, OH to Cloyd and Mary Scott. He resided in Streetsboro, Ohio, with his loving wife, Jill, and his best fury friend, Emily.

Dean enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He spent many years of his life being an avid boater and fisherman. He was known for always lending a hand and helping others, especially when it came to a building project. After retiring from US Communications and Electric, Inc., he was always ready for the next adventure.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd and Mary Scott, brother, Ed, and sisters, Annabelle and Margie. Surviving his loss are wife, Jill Scott; children, Ronald Scott (Belinda), Scott Daulbaugh, Melanie Arconti (Mark), Dena Wahl (Adam), James Daulbaugh (Keri), Renee Mardis, and Rebecca Kulmer (Norm), along with many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and several wonderful friends.

Friends are invited for visitation to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224 on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM, where service will be held Friday 10 AM.
