David (Dave) W. Martin, Jr.

STOW - David W. Martin, Jr., 52, died June 23, 2024, after a long battle with illness.

Born in Akron, he grew up in California, then settled in Stow since 2001. David received his master’s degrees from Kent State University and became the founder of Proactive Vocational Solution, where he contracted as a Rehabilitation Case Manager. He was often called upon to provide expert witness testimony in disability cases.

Dave was a devoted father, beloved community member, and culinary fanatic. Yet, he will be remembered most for his lion’s heart, gentle spirit, and peculiar sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Martin; stepson, Owen Williams; son, Benjamin Martin; daughter, Jenae Martin; parents, Margaret and David W. Martin, Sr.; sister, Barbara (Michael) Martin-Johnson; niece, Marisa Martin; adoring aunts and uncles; cousins, and lifelong friends.

Pastor Dan Page will conduct service, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 4 PM, where friends may call from 2 PM until service time, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow.

Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will be held at 4286 Baird Road, Stow, Ohio 44224.
