David Lawrence Decastro

FAIRLAWN - David Lawerence DeCastro was born on December 3, 1952, to the late Fabina Cucuzza and Patrick M. DeCastro, Sr., in Akron, Ohio.

David attended Akron Public Schools and worked different jobs over the years, which allowed him to work, learn, and explore many different career paths.

David loved reading and watching movies, walking to Summit Mall, and spending time with family.

David was a very caring and quiet man! Always willing to lend a helping hand without question. To know him was to LOVE him. David loved his family, especially his loving and caring sister, Paula, who was at his side until the very end.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Fabina and Patrick M. DeCastro, Sr.; brothers, Anthony DeCastro and Patrick DeCastro, Jr. David is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Paula DeCastro; longtime family friend, Paul Roth, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10 AM, Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Bernard Parish, 44 University Avenue, Akron 44308. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
