MUNROE FALLS - David N. Lenington, Sr., 85, died September 24, 2022.
Born in Akron, OH to Evlyn Elmer and Ada Vallie Lenington, he was a resident of Munroe Falls since 1970. David worked as a Time Estimator Router at Babcock & Wilcox for 41 years, retiring in 1997. As a gifted guitarist, he ministered to many through his music. He was a member of North Point Apostolic Church. He enjoyed golf, sports and travelled across all 50 states and Jamaica. A true friend to all, David never knew a stranger.
Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Sharon Lenington; son, Davey Lenington, Jr.; brothers, Lloyd, Ronald, and Edwin Lenington, he is survived by his daughters, Sherry (Larry) Maybury and Michelle (Steve) Neveadomi; grandchildren, Leslee Spaulding, Erin Williams, Walker Maybury, Christine Neveadomi, and Steven Neveadomi; five great-grandchildren, Alexys, Desiree, Jasmine, Kevin, and Baylee; sister, Shirley (Steve) Mara, and brother, Dale Lenington.
Reverend John Keys and Pastor Joe Ellis will conduct service 12 PM Friday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call from 11 AM to service time. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
