Dean Martin Taucher

STOW - Dean Martin Taucher, 74, died on March 30, 2025.

Born on February 21, 1951, in Akron, Ohio, Dean worked for many years with Roadway Express in logistics. Dean was a true "jack of all trades." Whether he was tackling a DIY project, working under the hood of a car, or crafting beautiful pieces of woodwork, Dean loved working with his hands.

Dean spent nearly 50 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Martha, building a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they raised a family and enjoyed traveling. Dean was an active man who loved the outdoors - whether it was cycling or casting a line at his favorite fishing spots, he embraced life to the fullest.

Dean’s legacy of hard work, love for family, and passion for life will forever be cherished.

Preceded in death by his parents, David Martin and Catherine Eva (nee Galambos) Taucher, he is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Schaetzle); children, Dean Martin (Laura) Taucher, II, Patricia (Eric) Jansen, and Adam Taucher; grandchildren, Doris, David, and Henry Taucher, Madelyn and Owen Jansen; brother, Michael Taucher, as well as many friends who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and zest for life.

A celebration of life with be held privately for family.
