Diana L. Schmitt

STOW - Diana L. Schmitt, (nee Miller), 63, died October 13, 2021.

Born in Akron, Diana attended Springfield High School, was a lifelong caregiver to many, and a very loving grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Preceded in death by her mother, Betty, and her loving fur baby, Ruby; in-laws, Gladys and Arthur Schmitt, and sister-in-law, Luellen Robertson; she is survived by her husband, Tim Schmitt, Sr. of Stow; father, Bob Miller, Sr. of Akron; stepchildren, Tim Schmitt, Jr., (Gayla), and Allison Garcia (Derrick), all of Stow; grandchildren, Ethan Schmitt, Laney Schmitt, Kayla Garcia and Jacob Garcia, all of Stow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Miller, Jr. (Jenny) of Akron, Paul Miller, Sr. (Kay) of Hartville, and Mike Miller (Janet) of Clinton.

All are welcome to attend, in casual attire, the celebration of life service on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 12 noon at Wintergreen Ledges Church of God, 1889 Vernon Odom Blvd., Akron 44320.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308, or to a charity of your choice in Diana's name.
