STOW - Donald E. Williams, 80, died May 4, 2010 surrounded by his family.
Born in Portsmouth, OH, he served his country in the Air Force during World War II. Hewas a member of the Akron First Seventh-Day Adventist Church and had founded and owned WCCV Hardwood Flooring, retiring in 1994.
Preceded in death by daughter Donna Taylor, son Darrell and brother Willie, he is survived by his wife, Lola; daughter Karine Schindler; sons Patrick and Raymond Williams; grandchildren Spencer Williams, Jessica Schindler, Ryan Schindler, Jason Williams and Christina Taylor; sister Darlene Williams and brother Leo Williams.
Friends may call Friday from 12 noon until 2 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Chase will conduct service Friday 2:30 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park. Mr. Williams' video tribute may be seen here.
