STOW- Dorothy W. Achberger, 94, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, died May 17, 2012.
Born in Charleston, WV, she had lived in Cuyahoga Falls over 40 years, had been a member of Falls Chapter #245, Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls
Preceded in death by her son Donn and grandson Brett, she is survived by her husband of 72 years Melvin; daughter Laura (Hal) Johnston; granddaughter Katie (Chris) Hodge; sisters Mary DiSalvo and Kathryn Binkley and daughter-in-law Peggy Achberger.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Sunday 3 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends are invited for visitation from 1 PM until service time. Private burial Monday at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 1742 Georgetown Rd., Hudson 44236 or to your favorite charity.
