Obituary of Dorothy Panell Duffy
December 29th, 1919- March 12th, 2012
STOW - Dorothy Pannell Duffy was reunited with the Lord March 12th, 2012 at age 92. Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident and a charter member of the Church of New Hope.
Preceded in death by her husband Jack, she is survived by her daughters Audrey(Vernon) Letzler of Akron, Susan (Greg)Wandelt of Loveland, OH; son James(Cheryl) Duffy of Chino Hills, CA; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Jacqueline Steele of Deerfield, OH and brother Paul Pannell of Cuyahoga Falls.
Dorothy brought joy to anyone who was graced with her presence. She knew how to love and show love to everyone she knew and had an incredible amount faith. Her love and faith will live on through her greatest legacy, her family and friends.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 5 to 7 PM, where Rev. David Klein, Pastor Donita Huffman and Pastor Michael Duffy will conduct service Friday 11 AM. Burial Oakwood Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Community Gospel Tabernacle, 181 E. State Street, Barberton 44203 or Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service.
