Dru Ann O'Connell

Dru Ann O’Connell, of Stow, Ohio, age 62, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Dru Ann was born in Flint, Michigan on January 9, 1959, to Bernard and Gloria (Carlson) Thomas. She married Michael O’Connell on April 8, 1978. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2017. She loved the beach, swimming, and taking pictures of the sunset. She also enjoyed travelling, shopping and crafts where she would utilize her talent of sewing. Most of all, though, she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her sweet Ashley.

Dru Ann is survived by her children, Nicole (Jeff) Clark, Jason (Nina) O’Connell, and Ashley O’Connell; grandchildren, Madailein, Cillian, and Caitlyn; mother, Gloria Thomas; siblings, Dawn Weishuhn, Dana Thomas (Tim Craft), Randy (Jill) Thomas, Ron Thomas, and Diana Lyons; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael O’Connell; father, Bernard Thomas; and nephew, Joel Brady.

A celebration of Dru's life will take place 4 PM to 8 PM, Saturday April 30, at Uniontown Community Park, 3696 Apollo Street NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
