STOW- Edith I. Weidlich, 97, died July 31, 2010.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident and a 1931 graduate of Canal Fulton High School. Mrs. Weidlich had retired in 1979 from Kresge's and was a member of Tallmadge First Church of God.
Preceded in death by her husband Bill, four sisters and one brother, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pastor William Wimmer will conduct service Wednesday 1 P.M. at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 12 noon until service time. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Tallmadge First Church of God, 464 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge 44278.
