Elaine Ruth Elliott

November 15, 1935 — September 24, 2022

STOW - God peacefully took Elaine Ruth Elliott, 86, the early morning of September 24, 2022, looking as beautiful as always. Her friends and family were amazed by her strength and endurance battling cancer up until the end.

She was born in Swartz Creek, Michigan, on November 15, 1935, to parents, Ardis and Harold Elliott.

Elaine retired from Federal Mogul in St. Johns, Michigan, and then worked part-time for The East Lansing School District. Spending time with friends and family, gardening, shopping, collecting antiques, and taking on home projects were among her passions. Everyone will miss seeing her smiling face as they pass her lovely home.

Although home was St. Johns for more than sixty years, in the last months, Elaine lived in Stow, Ohio with her daughter and family before moving into assisted living at The Landing in Stow. Her family appreciates the care and love of the staff and residents during her final months. Crossroads Hospice was a blessing, and we also extend them many thanks.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Lynn Elliott. She is survived by her three children, Richard, Craig, and Diane (Bill) Muncy; her cherished grandchildren, Dayton and Michael Boling and Billy and Ashley Muncy. Later in life, Elaine reunited with childhood friend, Jim Robinson, and they enjoyed many years together until Elaine’s passing. Jim and children, Bud (Pam), Jeff (Lori), Kaye (Greg), and Laurie also survive her.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made in Elaine’s remembrance to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org .
