"Together Forever"

Eleanor L. McMillen, 91, died on May 27, 2021.

She was a 1947 graduate of Stow High School, then Akron City Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She worked at KSU Health Center. She married her high school sweetheart, Dave, in 1950 and raised four children in Stow. After they retired, she and Dave bought Cherokee Park Campground, in Brimfield, in 1981 and lived there until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 1/2 years, Dave; infant daughter, Janet Beth; sisters, Wilma and Mary Louise; and parents, William and Martha McClaren. Eleanor is survived by her children; Donna, Debbie (Jim), Linda (Steve), and Dave (Kris); 15 grandchildren, David, Debbie (Dave), Sarah (Ryan), Joe, Tim, Diane (Will), Paul (Tori), Dan (Karen), Steve (Shelby), Jon, Jessica, Bob, Kayla, Kate, Rick; 14 great-grandchildren, Alex, Calvin, Payton, Liam, Karsyn, Owen, Jack, Emmett, Luke, Isaac, Emily, Waylon, Aubrey, and Ellison.

A private family service will be held, with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
