KENT - Elizabeth McGrath Wyatt, 92, of Brady Lake passed away June 5, 2023.
She was born April 2, 1931, at Walton Hospital in Liverpool, England, to Thomas and Sarah McGrath. Her father was from Wexford, Ireland, and her mother was from Liverpool. Mrs. Wyatt attended school at St. Alphonsus until it was bombed by the Germans, and then went to St. Winefride’s at St. Martin College in Bootle. She worked at Boots Cash Chemist in Liverpool, England.
On July 10, 1953, she married the late James A. Wyatt, Sr., and the couple moved to Kent, Ohio. Mrs. Wyatt was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, knitting, and loved all animals.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sarah (Shields) McGrath; husband of 43 years, James Wyatt, Sr., and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, James (Vickie) Wyatt, Jr., Bonita (Raymond) Kline, Andrew (Kimberly) Wyatt, and John (Rachel) Wyatt; grandchildren, Cory (Marc) Wyatt-Brawley, James H. (Alexis) Wyatt, Renea (Tyler) Lenkey, Daniel (Caitlin) Kline, Adam (Madeline) Kline, Andrew Wyatt, Aubree (Chris) Uhler, Aimee Wyatt, Hannah Wyatt, and Sarah Wyatt; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vera Cussin, brother-in-law, Eugene Wyatt, brother-in-law, Hubert Davis, of England, as well as many nieces and nephews in England.
Fr. Richard Pentello will conduct graveside service 10 AM, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Standing Rock Cemetery, 1361 North Mantua Street, Kent, Ohio 44240. Friends may call 1 - 4 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224.
