Elmer J. Carey

RICHFIELD - Elmer J. Carey, 73, died September 28, 2024.

Born in Cleveland, he has been a resident of Richfield since 2008. Elmer had been employed with Premium Transportation Staffing as CFO, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed golfing, going to casinos, scratch offs, and driving the bus for Revere Local School District.

Preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Carey, and his daughter-in-law, Sarah Fields, he is survived by his wife, Sandy Carey; children, Erin (Travis Crum) Carey, and Michael Carey; stepchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Jackie, Julie, their spouses, and their children; grandchildren, Nolan and Hadley Crum, Emmersyn Carey, and Lilly Wojtala.

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service, 11 AM, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call 5 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
