TALLMADGE - Eugene S. Jursek, M.D., born April 25, 1928, died October 11, 2022.

Eugene S. Jursek, M.D., having trod the stage of life for the allotted time allowed, left this world for other new adventures. Thus, this leaving has put him in ethereal contact with his wife, Evelyn, his father, John, his mother, Sophia, his brother, Clarence, and sister, Genevieve, all of whom had preceded him into the world that was promised. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Jursek, Valerie (Brian) Crisp, and grandson, Bradley Crisp.

Upon this passing and leaving a void of his presence, he has wished to disburse the thanks to the many who had shaped his sojourn of life. To his late wife and to his immediate family, a thanksgiving is rendered for making his life pleasant, interesting, and joyful.

Without question, all of the professional companions and the multiple students he had contact with, these were the burrs that kept him current and constantly striving for perfection that eludes all who do not attempt the best one can do. To all of these, a sincere merited and deserved thank you. Finally, to all of those myriad of patients, who through the years, have voluntarily given their permission and hope to him when the vicissitudes of disease and bodily dysfunction occurred, to all of these, a most gracious thank you.

Summing up, thus, family, schools (John Carroll U, Ohio State U.) residency at Akron City Hospital, U.S. Army (Korea tour), Associate Professor at NEOUCOM, and the 37 years of OB/Gyn Practice - these were the tools that honed the stolid image of what he was. Now it is time to leave, and so once again, to all, a good life and multos gratias. Ciao. I shall, EVENTUALLY, see all of you again.

Mass of the Christian Burial Monday, 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224.
