Evelyn A. Clark

STOW - Evelyn A. Clark, 97, Beloved Mother of five, Grandmother of 25, and Great-Grandmother to 41, passed away at her home surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Clark; her parents, John and Clotilda Friedrichsen; and her three brothers, Don, Glen, and Johnny, as well as, her son-in-law, Thomas Donahue.

Besides being the loving matriarch of her family, Evelyn served her country as a Staff Sergeant in the Woman’s Army Air Corps during World War II. Evelyn was also the broker/owner of Clark Realty, Inc.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Dr. Evelyn Brister (Thomas), Patti Donahue, Larry Clark (Nikki), Stephen Clark (Linda), and Jim Clark (Kim).

Calling hours will be at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow, on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3170 Kent Road in Stow, at 11:30 AM, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Fr. Michael Denk, celebrant.

Immediately following the mass, an entombment ceremony with military honors will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 East Waterloo Road in Akron.
