Frances (Fran) M. Morris (Nee Langrell)

KENT - Frances (Fran) M. Morris (nee Langrell), 78, passed away peacefully February 15, 2025.

Born February 1, 1947, to Frank and Edith Langrell (nee Wilkinson), she was a 1965 graduate of Stow High School and married Charlie Morris in 1966. She had been employed in bookkeeping and accounting, retiring from accounts payable at JOANN’s in 2009.

Retirement allowed Fran to begin her favorite vocation - being a loving grandmother, something she “worked” at until her death took her away from us.

Fran was also a long time, dedicated member of the New Apostolic Church in Stow and Akron, where she enjoyed doing flower arrangements for services and special events, teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, plus helping support the Youth Groups and other outreach ministries of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Kara Morris; grandchildren, Logan Mathew and Charley Elizabeth, all of Stow; sisters, Rebecca Rinehart of Texas and Lana Chaney of Cuyahoga Falls, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 AM, at New Apostolic Church, 3541 Elm Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of service.

Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
