Fred P. Englehart

KENT - Fred P. Englehart, 75, died December 9, 2023.

Born in Ravenna, he was a lifetime Kent resident, and a graduate of Kent State University School. As the owner of Englehart Construction, he was responsible for the building of the Kent Gazebo. Fred retired as a code inspector from the City of Hudson, was a member of the Kent Jaycees, and past president of the Northeast Ohio Austin Healey Club of America

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Englehart, and his son, Jeffrey, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Michelle; children, Jody (Larry), Angel, Ken, and Richard; grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, and Noah; and brothers, Robert Crow and Daniel Englehart.

Service will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 6 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 4 to 6 PM. Private interment Standing Rock Cemetery.
