Frederick G. Werner

SILVER LAKE - Frederick G. Werner, 82, joined his parents in heaven on July 7, 2023.

Fred was born on April 26, 1941, to Joseph and Ethel Werner in Akron. He was a Planning and Design Engineer for the State of Ohio, retiring in 1996.

He loved tropical vacations, relaxing on the beach with good music, and a good drink. He also enjoyed dining out, live music and dancing, building models, and spending time with his family and friends.

Fred is survived by his wife of 27 years, Barbara; sons, Richard (Tammy), Michael (Danielle), and Fred (Pamela); grandchildren, Staci, Tia (Bill), Maddox, Piper, Audrey, and Zach; great-grandchildren, Max, Roselyn, and Penelope; sister, Joanne (James) Davey, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pastor Paul Frerichs will conduct service, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 6 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 4 PM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
