TALLMADGE - Gail Marie Dailey, 66, died January 1, 2023.

Born in Akron, she was a lifelong resident of Tallmadge and a 1975 graduate of Tallmadge High School. Gail had been employed with Gerber Preschool as a teacher, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church. Gail enjoyed visiting her grandchildren, knitting prayer shawls for church, and watching T.L.C. church services on her computer.

Preceded in death by father, Ward King; mother, Connie King-Cavender (Hammack), and sister, Pocahontas (Bob) Danik. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John M. Dailey; daughter, Shannon (Jim) Dutka; grandsons, Adam and Xander Dutka; son, John M. Dailey, Jr.; aunt, Kay McCarver, along with many other nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

Pastor Andy Alberts will conduct service 10 AM Monday at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Friends may call 2 to 5 PM Sunday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Tallmadge Lutheran Church or the World Wildlife Fund.
