Gary P. Yamokoski

SOLON - Gary P. Yamokoski, 80, died January 2, 2023.

Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident, spending most of his life in Silver Lake and then in Stow. He spent the last ten years of his life living in Solon. Gary had been employed with his family’s business, Superior Mold and Die Company. He was a lifelong fanatic of corvettes, spending much of his time restoring them for other people. He was a long time member of Tiretown Corvette Club.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Yamokoski in 1967, and then wife, Nedra Yamokoski, in 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Kim (John) Wepler of Hudson; son, James (Amy) Yamokoski of Stow; grandchildren, Cory, Clayton, Camille, and Claira Wepler, as well as Camden and Boden Yamokoski; and brother, Bill Yamokoski.

Private services have taken place with Reverend Robert Pfeiffer conducting the burial service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
